Equine Program Scholarships

 Florence E. King Scholarship in Equine Studies

Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens, be Animal Science majors with a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, and exhibit a genuine interest in a career in the equine industry.  This renewable scholarship requires successful completion of 15 credit hours per semester and maintaining the required minimum grade point average.  Recipients are expected to be active participants in the equine program.


 Glass-Hostetter Equine Program Service Scholarship

Eligible applicants must be enrolled in the Equine Program and/or the Department of Animal Science.  Applicants must be of sophomore, junior or senior status with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0.  Preference will be given to those demonstrating competency with horses, volunteering with DEKEP horses, or having completed equine internships or worked on the farm.  Active participation in the equine program is required.
