grad students support the troops

Animal Science graduate students Laura Meyer, Haley Bartimus and Jorge Marcos pack boxes of snacks and hygiene products, that they collected, to send overseas to American troops.

The Arkansas Animal Science Graduate Student Association's (ASGSA) purpose is to bring together science practice and philosophical thoughts for future animal scientists.

Last year, the ASGSA held various events and activities throughout the year, which included Halloween costume and food contests, a supply drive for our troops, a spring decoration and food competition, a winter clothing drive, and a thank you breakfast for the Animal Science staff, among other activities. The ASGSA also participates in many Department wide events such as Animal Science Day and the AG Olympics.

ASGSA dues are $5 per semester

You can follow the ASGSA on Facebook or contact one of the officers below for more information.
