ASGSA

The Animal Science Graduate Student Association (ASGSA) shall serve to enhance and encourage cooperation and association among the graduate students within the Department of Animal Science.

The ASGSA shall represent the graduate students of the Department of Animal Science and shall provide an organization through which suggestions for the improvement of the graduate program can be offered, analyzed and conveyed to the Department of Animal Science leadership. The ASGSA shall foster opportunity for professional development in the various disciplines of animal science.

In prior years, the ASGSA held various events and activities, which included Halloween costume and food contests; a supply drive for our troops; a spring decoration and food competition; a winter clothing drive; and a "thank you" breakfast for the animal science staff, among other activities. The ASGSA also participates in many departmental events such as Animal Science Day and the AG Olympics.
