Forage Management and Utilization

We study multiple, interdisciplinary, and current aspects of grassland science.

This includes grass and legume forage production, forage utilization by animals, and grazing management. Arkansas is rich in natural resources and has a diverse livestock farmer population. Hence, we focus on providing applicable research and advice to producers with different classes of grazing livestock, including cattle, sheep, and horses for increased farm profitability and environmental sustainability.
